The short version. SimpleClickTrack has a free lite version and a full version you buy once for $10. "Full access for life" means for as long as SimpleClickTrack is offered as a service — it is not a subscription, and it is not a promise to run the service forever. If it is ever shut down you get at least 90 days' notice, your data stays exportable throughout, and if the shutdown happens within two years of your purchase you get a pro-rata refund.
A one-off payment of $10 (USD) removes the lite version's limits on your account: unlimited songs and set lists, your library and settings saved to your account and synced to any device you sign in on, and library export. There is no recurring charge and nothing to cancel.
The lite version is free and stays free. It is a complete click track — it simply holds up to 10 songs and up to 10 items in a set list, and stores them in your browser rather than on the server.
It means the life of the service, not your lifetime, and not a fixed number of years. As long as SimpleClickTrack is operated, your purchase entitles you to the full version at no further cost. It does not oblige the operator to keep operating it indefinitely.
This is stated here, on the payment page, and in the app before you buy, because a "lifetime" offer that only reveals its limits afterwards is not a fair one.
If SimpleClickTrack is going to be shut down:
Your click track does not stop working the moment a server does: the app runs offline in your browser from data already stored on your device, which is what makes it safe to rely on during a service with poor wifi.
If the full version does not do what this page says it does, ask for a refund within 30 days of purchase and you will get one. Beyond that, refunds are at the operator's discretion, except for the discontinuation refund in section 3, which is a commitment rather than a discretion.
Signing in uses your Google account, and only a Google-verified email address can be used. What is stored is your email address and name, your song library, services and settings, and — if you choose to add one — your Planning Center key, which is encrypted at rest with a key that is not kept in the database.
Your data is not sold, and is not shared with anyone except as needed to run the service. Ask and your account and everything in it will be deleted; export first, because deletion is not reversible.
Planning Center is a separate service with its own terms. A key you add here is used only to read the plans you ask for, and is never used to write to your church's Planning Center account.
An account is for one person. Sharing sign-in credentials so several people use one purchase, reselling access, or automated use that materially degrades the service for others may result in the account being closed — with a refund of the purchase price if it happens within two years.
SimpleClickTrack is provided as-is. It is a tool for running music, and while a great deal of care has gone into it being accurate and dependable, no guarantee is made that it will be available or error-free at any given moment. To the extent the law allows, liability is limited to the amount you paid. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
These terms may change for future purchases. The terms in force when you bought the full version continue to govern your purchase — in particular, the notice period and refund commitment in section 3 cannot be reduced after the fact for someone who has already paid.
